Product Description
Product Introduction

The 80-ton aluminium foil container making machine is a fully automatic press line built for multi-cavity production of aluminium foil containers. Its main body uses an "H" type frame, which gives the worktable higher rigidity and keeps forming stable during long, continuous runs. The lubrication system is a closed (enclosed) circuit: lubricant circulates inside the machine instead of being sprayed onto the tooling, so the working area stays cleaner, less oil is consumed, and the containers come off the line clean. That closed lubrication layout is what makes clean production possible on this press.

A complete line includes the foil decoiler and feeder, the 80-ton press, the mould lifter arm, the safety door, the scrap aspirator, the control cabinet and the stacker. The machine runs both wrinkle wall and smooth wall container moulds, from single cavity up to multi cavity (commonly 4–6 cavities at this tonnage), and stores multiple mould parameter sets so switching between products is quick. In automated production, one operator is enough, and the line can work around the clock.

Features & Advantages
  • H-type frame with a solid worktable — The press body uses an "H" type frame and a solid worktable rather than a hollow one. Rigidity is higher, the table stays stable under repeated stamping, and the service life of the press is longer.
  • Closed lubrication for clean production — Lubricant runs in a closed circuit inside the machine, so oil mist and oil leakage on the shop floor are reduced and less lubricant is used. A cleaner machine, a cleaner workshop, a cleaner container.
  • Multi-cavity production — Designed for multi-cavity moulds, typically 4–6 cavities at this tonnage. Moulds can be customised from single cavity to multi cavity according to your sample and output plan.
  • Wide material compatibility — Handles both thin and thick aluminium foil, and performs well on thin material with stable forming. Common alloys are 3003H24, 8011H22 and 3004H24.
  • Fast mould change — A mould lifter arm and a hydraulic pump make mould changing quick, and in normal cases no wrench work is needed: one worker finishes the job in about 15 minutes.
  • Safety and self-diagnosis — A safety door stops the machine immediately if it is opened during production. When a fault occurs, the machine stops automatically, alarms, and displays the fault on the touch screen, so the operator knows where to look.
  • One-stop line supply — Feeder, press, mould, safety door, scrap aspirator, control cabinet and stacker are supplied as one matched line, and the moulds come from the same workshop. Capacity, workshop layout and commissioning are therefore planned as a whole instead of being pieced together from several suppliers.
  • Export and service experience — Focused on aluminium foil container equipment and moulds since 2010, with installation and training support overseas, a one-year warranty, and long-term technical support and spare parts supply.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Which containers can this machine produce?
Both wrinkle wall and smooth wall containers are supported. Moulds are customised to your sample, and cavity numbers range from single cavity to multi cavity.
2. How does it compare with the 63-ton model?
The 63-ton model uses a "C" type frame with 3 cavities and lithium-based ester lubrication. The 80-ton model uses an "H" type frame with better stability and closed lubrication, which is cleaner, uses less oil, and suits multi-cavity production.
3. How many operators are needed?
One operator is enough for automated production.
4. Can it run 24 hours a day?
Yes. Just follow the routine cleaning and lubrication schedule.
5. Which oil is used and how often is it changed?
Commonly 320# gear oil, 46# hydraulic oil and food container stamping oil, with lithium-based grease for bearings and gears. For 8-hour daily operation, change the oil about every six months. The closed circuit uses little oil, so the level only needs to be above the scale line — no need to fill it up.
6. What safety devices are fitted?
A safety door that stops the machine if opened during production, plus automatic shutdown with the fault shown on the touch screen.
7. What are the common wearing parts?
On the machine: the stacker sensor and the feeder controller. On the mould: cylinder sealing rings and the shear blade.
8. Which raw materials and thicknesses are suitable?
3003H24, 8011H22 and 3004H24, in thicknesses of 0.025–0.2 mm. 3004 is not recommended below 50 microns.
9. What auxiliary equipment is required?
An air compressor for the air supply and a forklift for material and mould changes. A scrap baler handles the trimmed edges in bulk.
10. How are installation and training handled?
Three options: an installation video for self-installation, training at our factory, or our engineers on site for installation and training on request.
11. What is the lead time?
About one month for the machine and about two months for the moulds.
12. What about warranty and after-sales service?
One-year warranty with replacement for non-human-caused damage during the period, plus long-term technical support and spare parts supply afterwards.
