The LKWP-980 pop up wax paper folding machine converts wax paper or one-sided silicone paper rolls into pop up baking paper sheets. The roll is unwound, tension controlled, slit, V-folded and cross-folded so that the finished sheets interlock — pulling one sheet out of the box brings the next one up.
The finished unfolded sheet length is 270mm, and the web can be slit into multiple rows across a width of up to 950mm. Rows per cycle multiplied by single-row speed set the overall output, which runs at 250–400 sheets per minute per row and varies with row count, paper grammage and web width.
Cut-off can be serrated or straight. Serrated edges suit baking use where sheets are torn apart; straight edges suit flat stacking and downstream boxing. The machine accepts 30–60 gsm wax paper and one-sided silicone paper.
The line is driven by a main motor, a Roots fan, a tension motor and a discharge conveyor, all operated from a 7-inch touch screen. Main motor 4kW, tension motor 2kW, Roots fan 11kW, discharge conveyor 400W, 380V three-phase supply, 0.5–0.8 MPa air pressure, 6500kg total gross weight.

A pop up wax paper folding machine converts wax paper or silicone paper rolls into interlocking baking paper sheets. Because the sheets are folded to overlap, pulling one sheet out of the box lifts the next one. The LKWP-980 does unwinding, slitting, V-fold, cross fold and cut-off in one continuous line.
30–60 gsm wax paper or one-sided silicone paper. The 76mm (3 inch) paper core and up to 930mm web width cover common commercial roll sizes.
Standard unfolded length is 270mm, folded down to about 135mm. Sheet width is set by slitting and can be arranged across a web of up to 950mm. Non-standard unfolded lengths can be customized.
250–400 sheets per minute for each slitting row. Total output equals that single-row figure multiplied by the number of rows, so a wider web with more rows yields proportionally more sheets.
Serrated edges tear apart cleanly and suit baking use where sheets are separated by hand. Straight edges stack flat and suit automated box packing. The LKWP-980 supports both, so the choice is yours rather than fixed at purchase.
Yes. Both 30–60 gsm wax paper and one-sided silicone paper run on the same machine. Wax paper suits dry baking and lining work, silicone paper suits greasier or higher-temperature use. Switching between them is a parameter and roll change, not a machine change.
380V 50Hz three-phase with neutral and earth, 0.5–0.8 MPa air pressure at 300 L/min. Total motor power adds up to 17.4kW across the Roots fan (11kW), main motor (4kW), tension motor (2kW) and discharge conveyor (400W). Footprint is 4200 * 2150 * 1950mm for the main machine plus 2300 * 800 * 2600mm for the Roots fan, 6500kg gross weight.
Through a 7-inch touch screen. Operators set folding and slitting parameters and read running status from the same panel.
In this machine they refer to the same finished article, with the paper grade being the difference. Running 30–60 gsm one-sided silicone paper produces what buyers usually call pop up baking paper or parchment sheets; wax paper produces the wax paper version.
The machine discharges continuously onto an outfeed conveyor, which is the feed point for a downstream boxing line. Boxing itself is a separate unit, and LIKEE can advise on matching it to the LKWP-980.
